SAPI ISLAND

Sapi Island, literally known as "Cow Island" in Malay is just off the south-western tip of Gaya Island. This island features one of the nicest beaches in the park and most popular with tourists for snorkelling and scuba diving

MANUKAN ISLAND

The second largest island in the park, Manukan is the most popular with Kota Kinabalu residents. Manukan has some good stretches of beaches on the southern coastline. Manukan Island is the largest island of Taman Tunku Abdul Rahman and it has also been recognized as a national marine park. The best beach is on the eastern tip of the island. Offshore of Manukan are coral reefs, which is ideal for snorkelling, diving and swimming. Out of 5 islands, Manukan features the most developed tourist facilities that includes 20 units of chalets, a clubhouse, and few restaurants and a diving centre.

Top activities that must be done while on the island :

1. SNORKELING

Diving / snorkeling experience at this Island is more fun because of its beautiful scenery with sunny weather and comfortable and clean air. It is perfect for diving with family or friends.

2.PARASAILING

Another very interesting activity of Sapi island that you can do is parasailing. This parasailing is where you ride a parachute pulled by a speeding boat. You can ride the parachute alone or both.

3.SEA WALKING

Among the activities that attract more visitors to the island were the seawalking activities. This activity is done where you walk on the sea floor by wearing a special hat that has been distributed by oxygen.
